报告主题:In-vivo and Ex-vivo Assessment of Corneal Biomechanics

专家简介:I am a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Liverpool. My research area is an application field for my UG and PG training in structural engineering. I started my career in 1985 as a civil structural engineer, teaching structural mechanics and designing large built-environment buildings. In 1999, I decided to focus my research on biomechanics of biological tissue, and in particular the human eye. This work has been incredibly satisfying and has led to the development of several medical devices and technologies that are now findings applications, and helping patients around the world. These achievements have helped me build a strong academic profile with 200 journal publications, 7000 citations, an H-index of 44 and £7m of research funding.

专家简介:Dr. Kehao Wang is currently an associate professor at School of Engineering Medicine in Beihang University. Prior to that, she has studies and worked at University of Dundee, University College London, Kingston University London (PhD 2018), and Nottingham Trent University for nearly ten years in the UK. Her main research interests focus on optics and mechanics of the eye lens, with emphases on accommodative theory, lens development and ageing, cataract reversibility as well as new generation IOL design. Her research has been supported by the National Science Research Foundation of China, Carl Zeiss Meditec, Synchrotron Radiation based Large Science research centres including SPring 8 (Japan), BEPC (Beijing) and SSRF (Shanghai). She has published nearly 20 papers in the past five years in high-level journals including Progress in Retinal and Eye Research, Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science, FASEB journal, IEEE TBME etc., of which several have been featured in scientific media including EurekAlert and South China Morning Post. She has also been invited to chair and present at several leading conferences in the area and has received the Young Investigator Award from the National Foundation for Eye Research (NFER).

本次会议由Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices期刊编辑部、北京航空航天大学生物与医学工程学院、生物力学与力生物学教育部重点实验室、生物力学与力生物学创新引智基地(111计划)、北京市生物医学工程高精尖创新中心、中国生物材料学会材料生物力学分会主办,由世界华人生物医学工程协会(WACBE)青委会、中国力学学会/中国生物医学工程学会生物力学专委会、中国力学学会固体力学专委会生物材料与仿生专业组协办,医学中新技术与新装备国际学术会议将于202211-12月以线上方式举办。

 

期刊简介

Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices(医学中新技术与新装备)创刊于2019年,由Elsevier出版的开放获取期刊。编委会由世界著名生物医学工程、医疗器械领域专家组成,北航樊瑜波教授为创刊主编,美国佐治亚理工学院Scott Hollister教授(2019-2022)和Ahmed Elsheikh教授(2022-2025)担任共同主编,郑诚功教授担任执行主编。

期刊于2019年被DOAJ收录2021年被Scopus收录并被列为世界华人生物医学工程协会会刊入选2022年度中国科技期刊卓越行动计划高起点新刊项目Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices期刊旨在为全世界医工交叉领域相关研究领域及研究机构出版和传播医疗新技术、新装备提供服务收稿范围包括生物材料、组织工程、生物医学传感和测量、生物医学成像、医用机器人、生物力学、康复工程、医学人工智能、医学光子学、医疗仪器和医学信息学等交叉研究方面的基础及应用研究。
